Grown sustainably and ethically by farming families in the Suchitepéquez region of Guatemala, our cacao flourishes within traditional agroforestry systems, without chemical inputs, in harmony with the forest and the natural rhythms of the Earth.
Every stage — from harvest to transformation — is carried out locally using the Tree-to-Bar method, with deep respect for ancestral knowledge and the surrounding communities.
After harvesting, the beans ferment in banana leaves, then dry slowly under the sun. They are then gently roasted over a wood fire, a delicate step that enhances their natural aroma, eliminates microorganisms, and facilitates manual peeling — an ancestral craft lovingly upheld by the women.
Finally, the beans are ground in the village mill, giving birth to a pure, vibrant and living cacao paste.
